Napier hosted the 2018 concert given by the New Zealand Doctors Orchestra. Their aim is to provide medical musicians an opportunity to play in a high quality National Orchestra, to encourage collegiality and to enhance work life balance. the concert was staged at the Napier Municipal Theatre and used to raise funds for Cranford Hospice.

Cameron Brizzle was invited to play as part of the percussion section on Xylophone and Glockenspiel with some challenging pieces from Mussorgsky’s Pictures at an Exhibition and  Turina’s Danzas Fantasticas. Congratulations Cameron.
